On September 26, 2021, the Supreme People’s Court issued Civil Judgment (2021) Zui Gao Fa Zhi Min Zhong No. 817 in the case where Brokk (Chengdu) Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Brokk”) sued Chengdu Hangfa Slope Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Hangfa”) for infringement of an invention patent. The court found that the defendant Hangfa had committed infringement and should bear tort liability toward the plaintiff Brokk.
