Heidi Zhang

Ms. Zhang's practice area mainly focuses on intellectual property, with particular expertise in technology-related intellectual property legal services such as patents and trade secrets in the biotechnology field. Ms. Zhang taught at Capital Medical University for many years, where her main teaching and research direction was immunology. In 2002, she began engaging in intellectual property legal work and first worked at Beijing Liu Shen & Associates as a partner, mainly responsible for patent cases in the biotechnology field for internationally renowned pharmaceutical companies. In 2017, Ms. Zhang initiated the establishment of the Intellectual Property Department at Beijing Caihe Law Firm, and in 2018, she initiated the establishment of Beijing Tangsong Yongxin Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd. With her years of rich experience in patent law accumulated over the years, Ms. Zhang currently mainly handles important cases in the biotechnology field, including patent applications, patent invalidation, patent risk due diligence, and patent litigation disputes.

Ms. Zhang has a dual academic background in engineering and law, and has successively obtained a Master of Science degree in Immunology from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine and a Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property from Marshall Law School in the United States.

Ms. Zhang holds a legal professional qualification and a patent agent qualification.

Ms. Zhang also currently serves as a special patent agency training instructor at the All-China Patent Agents Association.
