Recently, the Higher People's Court of Beijing Municipality has issued the final civil judgment No. (2025) Jing Min Zhong 137 in the case of Nanjing Danpu Weilan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. v. a Beijing-based equipment company concerning utility model patent infringement. The court revoked the first-instance judgment and ruled that the defendant, a Beijing-based equipment company, had constituted infringement and shall bear legal liabilities to Nanjing Danpu Weilan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., including ceasing the infringing acts and compensating for losses.

Beijing Caihe Law Firm was entrusted by Nanjing Danpu Weilan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. to act as the litigation agent for the appellant in the second-instance proceedings of the aforementioned infringement case. After taking over the second-instance proceedings of the case, Beijing Caihe Law Firm went to the infringement site again to conduct evidence collection. Based on the new evidence submitted in the second instance, the judgment of the case was eventually reversed.
